Here I am doing what I love the best, hunting for tresures. Hope you enjoy my creations as much as I love making them.Artifact art is designed and made by Geri Stevens. Artifact hunting on the Arkansas River is more than a joy and the unusual finds is a junkers dream. Just as much as finding an arrowhead is the excitement of a shinning peace of pink flint or that iridescent stone that sits on the river bed like a diamond. Bison bones and teeth and pertified wood, what a joy to discover and put in your pocket and take home. So artist that I am, I thought what can I do with all this wonderfull stuff? There you have it Artifact Art!! I do this for enjoyment and as some of the things seem crude and rough that is the point. This is my way of giving part of Mother Earth and the river to those who may want to just look at it on their office desk or whatever and dream of hunting and walking the river. From a distance it looks interesting but spend just a few extra minutes up close and it will take you away, just imagine.
